I have no idea what prompted the Hitler (from Inglorious Basterds) parodies after pretty every major announcement this year, but this one is actually pretty good. If you’re an MSNBC junkie you won’t understand most of these references probably, so the humor may be lost. (content warning)

Will Obama Restore Science to Its Rightful Place?
As the story goes, after 8 head-in-the-sand years of the Bush Administration, the big business and psuedo religious belief system of the past would not live to see another day in the new Obama administration. Obama vowed to “restore science to its rightful place” which basically meant we’d be harvesting stem cells and end the debate on global warming.
But science and politics have a tricky little relationship, as trusted “scientific data” brings big bucks, and hiding other scientific data keeps big bucks from being lost. Government and the laboratory can be just as destructive as the left’s hated military-industrial complex. In my opinion, the “rightful place” of science, regardless of what it is, would be as far from the government as possible.
After months of Climate Gate revelations showing the exact type of manipulation and censorship that Obama railed against, you’d think that this newfound love of science, which would mean believing what the data showed regardless of your personal thoughts, would be affecting the economy busting cap and trade bill and a host of other policies set to take over our lives to save the planet.
Not so, you sillies.
In fact, the most startling revelation of them all came this weekend, where the crucial scientist whose data was at the center of the global warming debate says that there hasn’t been any warming since 1995 and that it was not due to man. If you wanted to double check that, not so much luck since he seems to have lost the papers on it.
Huh? I can almost see Al Gore yelling “Well, hockey sticks!!”
This has now been reported by most of the world media besides MSNBC. India has dropped out of the IPCC and is forming their own panel, supposedly to do actual scientific reviews of data. The best stories have come from the British press, including the BBC.
It’s a long convoluted chain of events and meanings. Data that was supposed to tell the world that government control, more taxes, and lowering of lifestyle to save the planet came from false data, made up data, college kids’ term papers as sources, an Al Gore powerpoint, and the movie The Day After Tomorrow.
As scientific theory goes, the debate can’t be over, even if your government says it is. If science is to be returned to its rightful place, than its best the government withdraws their climate change legislation and gets their hands out of the back pockets of the Big Global Warming industry and the science community.
I do see the temperature rising quickly soon…but it’s going to be isolated in Washington, DC.
No matter what state you are in, you likely questioned the whole thing this weekend (snow in all 49 states minus Hawaii) which is why the US media quickly said the snowstorm is because of global warming as well.

Bin Laden Campaigns for Nobel Peace Prize?
In an odd statement sent today, Osama Bin Laden sent a message about a new evil of the United States – and the best way to bring us down. This time, though, it comes straight out of An Inconvenient Truth. Bin Laden is now on record as being very concerned about Global Warming.
I type as I sit here waiting for the blizzard of 2010 to hit the East.
Much like the Al Goracle, Bin Laden sees the United States as the cause of this weather chaos, and his plan to stop it is to bring down our industry a bit. The last time someone spoke with such boldness, they won a Nobel Peace Prize. And if you are concerned that the little terrorism side of him would hurt his chances, Yassar Arafat would disagree.
If he can’t win the peace prize, Senator Bin Laden could be in the future if he ran as a Democrat. Ok, ok….that’s a little extreme. Though he blames Bush and corporations for climate change, wants us to join Kyoto, sides with the Palestinians in the middle east, and is an avid fan of Noam Chomsky.
Bin Laden notes that ‘Noam Chomsky (the US academic and political commentator) was correct when he compared the US policies to those of the Mafia.”
The recording hasn’t been confirmed, so it may all be a hoax. But the irony is that the hoax is on us (if you’ve paid attention to the past few month’s ClimateGate, HimalayanGate, and uh..IPCCgate )… and even Osama’s alleged idea to bring the country to its knees isn’t too far off from Cap and Trade.

Climate Scientists or Your Lying Eyes?
I’ll say, this is one cold blip…but a blip Winter 2010 is according to Climate scientists.
3 decades cold snap fills up hospitals in .. Florida. Blip
Wind chill near zero in Canada. I mean Texas. Blip
Wind chills near -50 (your thermometer is doing it wrong). Blip
But indeed, this, and the past few years have been a blip on the grand scale of climate. Fair enough. They’ve got facts to back it up…climate data showing overall we’re warmer the past decade. I mean they don’t make those stats up right? It’s science. (John Stewart weighs in) It’s not like they’d get barred from the scientific community or lose their funding if they went against the established theory.
There was another one of these climate blips in the industrial age. Man made global cooling.
So bundle up and wait for the government to let us know what we can do to help. Wait long enough and they’ll change their mind.
Until then, your lying eyes.

Why is it so cold? Global Warming of course.
I like to present global warming as the new opiate of the masses because..well..it is. All the things the hardest left “warmers” hate about religion – the blind faith in the face of facts, the forcing of their beliefs on the unclean world, a fiery death if we don’t believe – describes them to a tee.
And much like the good ole’ preacher boys found in the back room smokin’ cigars and drinking whiskey after church service, you can always find a warming nut wherever there’s a private jet or armada of limos.
In the lengthy list in my previous post of stories on this mind (and body) numbing, once in 3 decades winter we’re in, I included a link to an article about how Peru’s mountain people face extinction because of the harsh cold. A reasonable person may or may not put this together with the rest of this decade’s facts and begin to question this global warming (now referred to as climate change) thing and say…slow down fellas on the back breaking regulations.

This heart-wrenching story of how you’re killing them..makes absolutely no sense.
Climate change is bringing freezing temperatures to poor villages where families have long existed on the margins of survival. Now some must choose whether to save the animals that give them a living, or their children.
The few hundred people who live here are hardened to poverty and months of sub-zero temperatures during the long winter. But, for the fourth year running, the cold came early. Coldest. Winter. Ever.
Updated stories below. Perhaps not, but even the most religious Global Warming believer has gotta be having trouble holding their signs up in 18 degree temperatures. In the deep South. It’s the coldest stretch of winter (especially in late Dec./early Jan) I can recall in my lifetime. It’s getting so cold out there, you almost need to falsify climate data to keep the dream alive. Oh wait.
I wouldn’t care so much if a massive freedom-destroying and economic growth busting cap and trade bill wasn’t on the icy horizon. I guess they’re hoping we’re too busy shoveling our driveways to notice.
Only two possibilities occur in my mind. Either we need to do the lefty favorite of beginning to question the establishment thinking on global warming, or Obama is ahead of schedule in his promise to lower the rising seas and solve global warming.
Here’s just this week’s news from the weather front. (yes, that’s why global warming has now been called “climate change”..because colder or hotter, we’re causing it. You plastic bag using, meat eating, capitalist freak.)
But the best evidence..better than any news article, scientific study, or algore powerpoint presentation is to just (try) to go outside.

Dream of a White Christmas
One of the things I’ve always wanted was a White Christmas. I may be about 30 miles too south to get my dream this year, but it looks like a very good possibility for much of the country.
In a year of many record low temperatures worldwide, a decade of global cooling, climategate emails exposing the making up of scientific data, and some of the earliest blizzards in this part of the country in our lifetimes, it’s a little Christmas gift in more ways than one for many of us.

Al Gore, Academy Award, Nobel Peace Prize, Poet?
Is there anything this man cannot do? Albert gore, the face of the global warming (or climate change?) movement is a man of so many talents. As a blizzard blows outside in mid-December in one of the biggest blizzards for this time of year in modern history, I cannot helped but be moved.
I laugh with everyone else at George W. Bush’ incoherent babbling. Not many took him seriously by the end of his second term. The real humor is that people still listen to Al Gore with eyes wide open (like the guy doing the interview). Behold his incoherent truth. Do not let this shake your faith. (via HotAir Blog)
For me this is, indeed, poetic irony. With a straight (dare I say solemn) face, Al Gore warns us of what will happen if we don’t change our polluting ways. Yes, this Al Gore.
