Variety Posts First Review of Stone’s “W.” Movie
As I am no fan of President Bush, I hesistantly want to see “W.” Unfortunately, it is by Oliver Stone, so likely half of it is completely made up (a la JFK, Nixon). At any rate, this type of movie is needed to discuss the legacy of possibly the worst, and the least popular president in history. And no matter what persuasion you are, it befuddles the mind that someone of his story and coherency could make it as the leader of the free world.
Unfortunately a more even-handed director and coming out after he is done being president may prove to have been a better choice.
