Graph of the Day
Why when they bring up the tired old “it’s for the children, you must not care about the children” argument every time the teacher’s union wants more free health benefits for themselves. Now if you actually want to use vouchers to let kids do something better with that money — you again hate children. For some reason.
When what we’re thinking is about this chart and wondering where that money is going, and who is really coming up with ideas better for “the children?”
Dem Senator Bob Etheridge Manhandles College Student
While we’ve been waiting and waiting for the warning that Tea Party rhetoric could turn into physical confrontation without avail, our condolence prize is a sitting Democrat Senator from NC physically assaulting a college student who asks him an evil, vile question. Does he support Obama’s policies. This video has been a viral hit today on YouTube.
Perhaps Sen. Etheridge got all hot and bothered by President Kickass’ quest to find someone to manhandle himself at BP.
Amazing Story: Couple Realizes They’ve Met Before – 30 Years Ago

This is just a really heartwarming story and quite incredible. Don’t seem to hear a lot of this type of thing anymore, so it was pretty refreshing.
A couple was looking through old photo albums before their wedding and realized they were both at Disney World on family vacations as children the same day – 30 years before. They didn’t know each other and didn’t even live in the same country at the time.

Homeless Guy Thanks Chris Christie for Getting Gov’t off His Back
Libs like to look at a world where all poor people are good and all rich people are evil. Oddly un-nuanced for such a progressive lot. The reality is there are multiple kinds of poor people, including ones who will remain poor because they don’t care and live a life of crime and drugs, no matter how many handouts you give them.
The other kind are just down on their luck, who don’t want a handout, just a hand up…and they’re willing to give it to themselves. They don’t want to just make it through the day with a little government check, they want to keep going. They are on the verge of being able to pay all their bills and are working hard towards doing it, if Government would get off their back.
This guy is one of those, and he speaks out at a NJ Gov. Chris Christie rally. This clip makes progressives angrier than any other kind because they need homeless people to know their place, which is a ward of the nanny state not an independent person.
New Mortal Kombat Trailer – Whoa.

Brilliant viral marketing on many fronts. I’ve rarely played the game Mortal Kombat (though the storyline looks cool I guess) and never seen any of the movies. (Updated – here’s the whole story of what’s going on with the trailer).
I kept seeing this pop up all over the internet in statuses and other sites referenced some Mortal Kombat trailer. No one knew if it was some promo for a game or a movie, so I ignored it.
Glad I changed my mind and watched it, looks awesome. Definitely check it out. Apparently it is, indeed, from an upcoming movie. UPDATED: Status from one of the girls in the trailer, apparently it is a promo from a director hoping to get picked up by the studio. Nice attempt…if so best viral marketing I’ve seen evah.
No embedding here, go to the full HD version as the noir styling is pretty interesting and needs full screen for effect.
President Kickass Pulls a George W

The unpredictable, gun totin’ cowboy – I saw the same thing as Obama recently expressed in an interview – that caused the media and Will Ferrell to go bazonkers during the prior 8 years.
Updated – This clip has now been Auto-tuned. Heh.
Fair enough, but a) would they give Obama the same treatment and b) Obama doesn’t talk too tough about the folks perpetrating “man made disasters” (or as we refer to it ‘terrorism’) or bring that “can kick” spirit to attacking the skyrocketing deficit.
Well I stand corrected as Jon Stewart (who has become a relatively equal offender of Republicans and Democrats compared to other comedians) blasts Obama and even uses the George W. Bush voice to do it. FTW

Google’s Homepage D-Day Doodle Leaves Something to be Desired

Memorial Day, 9/11, D-Day…you’ll find no type of indication it is going on if you check out Google’s homepage, which features their normal logo. Darwin’s birthday, Cinco De Mayo, Pac-Man’s anniversary, or the anniversary of the guy who invented the hologram, those definitely are covered with Google doodles.
Just FYI since they don’t teach it much anymore, but D-Day is probably the single most important event in recent history that made it possible to have time bothering to worry about how old Pac-Man is.
Compare this to Microsoft’s Bing search engine. (American Cemetery in Normandy).
If anyone would come up with something remotely as good as Google I’d switch right away (not to mention the bonus of not having all of my personal, travel, email, and web surfing data in their “oops we didn’t know we were recording everyone’s wifi address” hands).

Chris Christie Challenges the Teachers Unions
Another Chris Christie video?? Yup. I need to get over this guy. Nope.
You recall the millions who saw in Obama a change from the entrenched, self-serving mob-style politics of the past. I was in that group, I just knew Obama wasn’t going to be any different.
Going up against the establishment to do what’s right for the regular people, with the likely outcome of getting destroyed in the process is Change. It looks like this.
Quotables Soundbites of the Day
Obligatory NJ Gov. Chris Christie quote of the day (if he speaks, it’s probably the best thing I’ve heard all day, sorry.)
